Fall is such a wonderful time to garden. The weather is cooler but the colours are warmer, there are less bugs and best of all you get to reap the bountiful harvest of your vegetable garden or cut giant bouquets of sunflowers, phlox and helenium. It is also a great time to move around perennials or shrubs that you were not happy with or plant some fillers into bare spots. If you are still in love with gardening then there are some great Fall sales on here at the garden center this month. The Fall bulbs are set to arrive by September 7th which seems late but we have been told that they had an unseasonably wet spring in Holland and so the harvest season is behind this year. We have chosen some gorgeous unique varieties this year. The Fall mums are beautiful (as always) and grown right here by us! LOVE LOCAL!
