As we reflected back on the year, we realized there are a few NEW Time Code Displays that didn't get much promotion. We added the ES-978, ES-979 & ES-979/6 to our 7" Timecode Display Family in 2015 to meet specific customer requests after the success of the ES-976 & ES-971 (6-digit and 4-digit, respectively) 7" Timecode Displays.

The ES-978 is an 8-digit SMPTE-LTC / EBU Timecode Display. The ES-979 & ES-979/6 read IRIG (A, B or E), NASA-36, XR3 or 2137 timecodes. Each unit has features that are unique & useful for the specific applications and industries that most often use that particular timecode.

All ESE 7" Timecode Displays can be seen from over 250 feet away! They may even be too big for some facilities, but for many customers they are exactly what is needed to clearly display accurate timecode in a larger space.  You can see how effective a 7" display is in this picture of the ES-976 from 250 feet away at NAB 2013. The time is still easily visible from that far away even in the busy and bright exhibit hall. We really encourage you to come check out our 7" Timecode Displays in person at NAB 2016 which will we talk more about after the New Year.
