New Fruit Vines brandWallace Church contacted me to create a new Fruit Vines brand as a follow-up to the Red Vines brand I lettered for them. Unlike so many projects where the goal is to retain the design equity of an existing brand, we had total freedom to create a new look for both brands. That said, Red Vines is the endorsement brand for Fruit Vines, and the two brands had to work well together. So, I kept many similarities (sans serif, swash "R"s, unusual "E"s) but created substantial differences that allow each brand to be unique. I wish you the spirit of grace for the holidays.
