My dear friend, Judy Baker, is a warrior for health and wellness.
When she learned she had cancer, she wanted her friends to know what
was going on with her. And being a beacon of light and transformation,
she created an organization called Judy's Wellness Warriors with the
focus to "get inspired, help yourself, help others".
Judy is a design professional, and she knew she needed a logo.
So she phoned me, asking if I would design it for her. Of course I said yes.
She said she wanted something with a heart and wings. Whew. Normally,
I concentrate on letterforms, but this was a good challenge. Besides, this
was for Judy! My breakthrough came when I realized I could render the
wings in the same style as the "Wellness" script.
