Jeff Kinney at our 11/18 Diary of a Wimpy Kid event.
 December 2014
Dear Friends,

The season has had an especially festive start here at Phoenix Books.  This November, we held our biggest event yet, when we hosted Diary of a Wimpy Kid author Jeff Kinney and over 800 of his fans at Browns River Middle School.  (Looking for an autographed book? Click here!)  That followed on the heels of another great partnership:  Our Princess Bride party and screening at Essex Cinemas, which packed a 400-seat theater.  This past weekend, we've been focusing on one-on-one, community events:  On Saturday, an amazing group of local authors visited Phoenix Books Burlington to help shoppers solve holiday gift-giving riddles, and on Sunday, the Grinch himself visited each location to help us collect donations for our local food shelf.  Today is "Cider Monday," and we're inviting you to visit in person for a free cup of hot cider.  We hope you'll join us!  Today and throughout the month, we're ready to help you find great gifts for everyone on your holiday shopping lists.

Sincerely,

Mike, Renee, Adam, Ali, Beth, Christy, Colleen, Dan, Donna, Eliza, Erik, Evelyn, Greg, Heather, Kari, Kelly, Kristen, Michael, Nick, Phil, Rachel, Sean, Tod, and Wendy
