November 2014
Dear Friends,

Thank you.  You choose again and again to visit us, to share a bit of your day, to let us help you find just the right book, to spend a few minutes or longer browsing our shelves.  Whenever you do this, you truly make our day.  We're entering the season of Thanksgiving, and we are constantly grateful for our community.

We'd like to invite you to join us for some very exciting events this month:  We'll be hosting Jeff Kinney's only public appearance in Vermont, and we'll celebrate two book launches this month.  And that's only a sampling of the many events on our calendar in November.  Read on, or visit our website, for our full calendar of events.

See you among the shelves!

Sincerely,

Mike, Renee, Adam, Ali, Beth, Christy, Colleen, Dan, Donna, Eliza, Erik, Evelyn, Greg, Heather, Kari, Kelly, Kristen, Michael, Nick, Phil, Rachel, Sean, Tod, and Wendy

PHOENIX PROFILES: ELIZA
For this month's installment of "Phoenix Profiles," we're featuring Eliza, a bookseller at Phoenix Books Burlington.

Eliza loves books. She grew up getting in trouble for reading when she was supposed to be sleeping, eating, and playing soccer. She always has a separate bag for books when traveling, which means less legroom in cars traveling across the country, and has accepted that ditching clothes to allow extra room in suitcases for books is a necessary sacrifice. Her favorite stories are ones that inform, entertain, and that you can't stop thinking about long after the last page has been turned.
