This day is part of a series of events celebrating the ideals of tolerance, diversity and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. himself which will take place throughout the Grand Traverse region between January 13 and March 3. The series, called Embrace The Dream, represents an unprecedented collaboration of local organizations and venues working together to herald Black History Month and Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The events include live music and stage performances, interactive exhibits, films, fine art, and more. For more information visit the online calendar.
