The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is hosting "Crowdfunding, is it right for you?" on April 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. This workshop focuses on the history of crowdfunding, what is going on now in the business, and how UB students, alumni and the Baltimore community can take advantage of using this model as the next level of funding. CAS DISTINGUISHED SPEAKER

Dr. Bill Durden, President Emeritus and professor of liberal arts at Dickinson College and operating partner of Sterling Partners, will speak to the UB community on April 16 from 3:30-5 p.m. as the YGCAS Distinguished Speaker. He will address challenges and opportunities for the 21st-century university, focusing on UB's diverse population. The presentation and discussion includes strategies for reaching UB's student success goals. Please RSVP.

On Wednesday, March 26, Be More (UB's Leadership & Community Engagement Program), the Diversity and Culture Center, and the Helen P. Denit Honors program will be collaborating for Starving for Change, a banquet raising awareness about hunger in the United States.
