Matthew Gallagher, president and CEO of the Goldseker Foundation, will speak at the grand opening of the new home for the Schaefer Center for Public Policy on Thursday, April 10 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The center's new location, in the UB-owned building at 5 W. Chase Street, serves as the central hub for its activities supporting effective government and policy analysis, through training, research, and fact-finding for a variety of public and private organizations. The UB Students for Public Interest is a student-run organization dedicated to advancing public interest law. For two decades, UBSPI has inspired students to pursue careers focused on serving the less fortunate and underprivileged in an effort to help them obtain equal representation in the justice system.
