A CELEBRATION OF ALUMNI AUTHORS

Langsdale Library is hosting an evening to celebrate the publishing accomplishments of UB alumni on Thursday, April 4 from 7-9 p.m. in the Langsdale Auditorium.

Enjoy light refreshments followed by a panel of alumni authors and publishers discussing their experiences in publishing. More details to come. For questions, please contact Natalie Burclaff at 410.837.5072 or nburclaff@ubalt.edu.

JOB SEARCH GROUPS
The UB Career and Professional Development Center has limited spots available in two 6-week job search groups. One meets Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. starting Feb. 5, and the other meets Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. starting Feb. 6. Contact Malka Weintraub, UB career coach, at 410.837.5458 or mweintraub@ubalt.edu with your name, phone number, choice of group and email address to begin registration. There is a $40 fee to join.

The UB Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) needs UB alumni entrepreneurs who are interested in mentoring/coaching, speaking and lecturing to aspiring, emerging and established student entrepreneurs at the University of Baltimore. INAUGURAL SCHAEFER CENTER FORUM
Join the UB Schaefer Center for Public Policy for a panel discussion that explores William Donald Schaefer's legacy and the lessons to be learned from his approach to public service. Moderated by WYPR's Fraser Smith, the discussion will include several people who worked closely with Governor Schaefer, including Nancy Grasmick, Sandy Hillman and Mark Wasserman.
