Another year is drawing to a close. We'd like to wish everyone a safe and restful holiday, especially after this busy heating season. 

 

The HPBAC office will be closed between Christmas and New Year's. We close on December 23rd at noon and will be back in the office on January 5th. 

 

Thank you for your support in 2014 and we look forward to seeing you at EXPO and/or one of the regional events planned for 2015. 

HPB EXPO 2008
HPBA expands exhibit space in Nashville
Due to higher than anticipated booth sales HPBA has added an exhibit hall to the Nashville show. 

It looks like the 2015 HPB Expo is going to be a great success. This is one you won't want to miss.

To date, with 12 weeks until the show, this is how things compare with the SLC 2014 show...

Registrations 
  • up 81% in total registrants
  • up 107% in attendee registrations 
  • up 66% in total companies attending
  • up 71% in attendee companies
  • up 67% in buying entities 
Compared to Orlando in 2013 total registrants are up 61%

Exhibitors
It looks like there's going to be a lot to see in Nashville. 
  • up 31% in the total number of exhibiting companies and 27% in total booth sales compared to SLC 2014 
  • up 29% in exhibiting companies and 14% in booth sales over Orlando 3013
  • 60 new companies have booked space so far for 2015 compared to 33 in 2014. That's an increase of 82%
Housing
If you haven't booked a room yet you should do so soon because bookings are already 55% ahead of last year with attendee bookings up 190% over last year and exhibitors up 40%.

Education Passports
Three day and One day passport sales are up 26% over last year. 

You will need an Education passport to attend HPBAC's education session on Friday from 1 pm to 2:30 pm. This is a session specifically for Canadian members. There are many other great sessions on the Education Schedule that are relevant for Canadian members.

Did you have trouble getting on our website this week?

 

The hpbacanada.org website was hacked recently and users were being sent to Wikipedia, an online pharmacy and receiving error messages. We are back up and running with improved security measures in place. 

 

Our apologies if you were inconvenienced in any way and thank you to those who advised us of the problem. 

2015 Webinar Series

In 2015 HPBAC will host another series of webinars at very competitive prices for members. 

 

We plan to run one session per month starting with a session in January on Getting the Most out of a Trade Show for exhibitors followed by a similar session in February for EXPO Attendees. Watch for our Registration Bulletins by email in the New Year.

 

We're basing most of our schedule on feedback from our Education Survey. It's not too late to add your voice. Please click on the link to participate in the survey.
