HPBAC celebrates 20 years of service in 2014

Twenty years ago the Hearth Products Association of Canada was incorporated in the province of Ontario. HPAC ended 1994 with 91 members. In 2013 HPBAC had 378 non-manufacturer members. That's an increase of 315% over 20 years.

In 2003 the name changed to the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association of Canada when HPBA merged with the barbecue association.

We'll celebrate the 20th anniversary and honour the members who've been a part of HPBAC since the beginning at the HPBAC EXPO Reception and Focus Canada this March. We hope you can join us for the celebration.

This year each affiliate has been offered a two hour time slot to visit with members and potential members. HPBAC staff and board/committee volunteers will be at the Membership Booth on Friday, March 7th from 11 am to 1 pm. Stop by to say hello, find out more about Affinity programs and other member benefits or to give us your thoughts on issues affecting your business.

Other exciting activities:

Flash Education - each day we will present 5-10 minutes education sessions in the booth. Check the EXPO schedule for information
Affinity Partners - meet with a representative from Constant Contact to learn more about their program or pick up information on other member benefits
Free luggage tag - come by the booth to get your free luggage tag.
