What's happening at HPBAC this fall...

     

During the busy heating season our staff is working hard.

Tony Gottschalk is attending various meetings relating to standards and codes, including the National Building Code. He is also monitoring regulatory issues. Tony also serves on the Education and Government Affairs Committees of HPBAC as well as the HPBA Government Affairs Committee.

Laura Litchfield is working with the Education Committee to develop training opportunities for members, with the Communications Committee to provide information to members and the public and to promote the industry and with the Member Services Committee to bring you new programs, meetings and events and monitor and promote existing programs, as well as dealing with member recruitment and retention. Laura also liaises with HPBA and other affiliate staff.

Erika Pollock coordinates the EnerGuide for Gas Fireplaces program and is HPBAC's bookkeeper. She also fulfills the Administrative role for the Central Chapter.

Upcoming Events
2014 is the 20th Anniversary for HPBAC. We'll be celebrating!
HPBAC Canadian Reception is making a comeback at EXPO this year. The time, day and location have all been changed - we've moved to Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at The Hotel Bar + Nightclub across from the Salt Palace. More information will follow in the new year.
Focus Canada will be held from 7 am to 9 am on Thursday, March 6th in Ballroom BD of the Salt Palace Convention Center.

FREE Webinar Series - Online Marketing   

 

Missed the recent free webinar series on websites and Social Marketing? It's coming back in 2014. This FREE series of webinars on online marketing and social media is hosted by the HPBAC Central Chapter and will be free for all members of HPBA Canada. Yes, that's right, it's free. 

 

The webinars have been prepared specifically for HPBAC by Chris Appleton of WSI Digital Marketing Consultant.   

 

The focus of these sessions will be to introduce you to the key concepts of online marketing and how to take advantage of the opportunities available to your business. Each session will conclude with an opportunity to ask questions.   

Each webinar will be approximately 45 minutes in length.
