Dress Rehearsals

Dress rehearsal is this Saturday 7-9:15am at VM. Arrive 15 minutes early! Click here for your child's rehearsal time. Final dress rehearsal & recital will be at Westfield on Saturday, May 23.

Recital Pictures

Photographer will be here this Saturday during dress rehearsal. If your child missed pictures, schedule individual portrait time today. Natural makeup is best. Group photos & packages will be ready by May 23.

Summer Time

Plan to spend the summer at VM June 8-July 30. Click for schedule and camps. It's important your child continues training; vacations are no problem. Makeup classes offered throughout session, so let's keep dancing!

Fall Registration

Students who continue in summer, pay registration fee by May 21, & fill out CAP form using a voided check, will remain at 14-15 tuition rates. Registering early secures your spot for 2015-2016. Click here for schedule. Earn $10 in boutique for every new student you refer who enrolls. We're excited about "Dance Days" May 2016-details coming soon!

We Love Parties!

Book your party today, and let us roll out the red carpet for your child. Party options include: tea parties ($299), ballerina, baton, cheer, gymnastics, or anything else you can dream ($165).

Martial Arts

Martial Arts: Classes are Mon/Thu for ages 6+. We encourage parents to enroll, and it's great exercise.

Music Lessons

Music: Music makes you smarter! Piano, voice, and guitar for ages 4+; coordinate with your dance schedule. Register now for summer camps.

Cinco de Mayo and Ms. Vicki's birthday May 5, Mother's Day May 10, and "Sweet Dreams" Recitals May 23. We are blessed with staff, students, parents, and over 30 in our dads dance. Mandatory dress rehearsal (no Baby Ballet) this Saturday, April 25 at VM:

Tiaras 7-7:30 am

Tutus 7:30-8:15 am

Curls 8:15-8:45 am

Stars 8:45-9:15 am

Students are excited to perform for family & friends in "Sweet Dreams" Recital 2015. It is important you and your party stay for entire recital (about 1.5 hours). All children have worked hard and deserve to perform for a full house. Every family has made a commitment of time and finances to enjoy the show. VM staff has invested all year to present this recital. We must teach our children to be a good audience by staying until the end. Thank you in advance for your kindness and respect.

Sweet Dreams Recitals

We are thrilled Baby Ballet will have its own recital May 23 at 9:15am, followed by the big show at 9:45am. Theatre doors will open when Baby Ballet is done around 9:35-9:40am. Audience must find their seats ASAP, so the next show can begin. The 9:45am show is almost sold out! Please keep in mind 1200 people need to get in the theatre in an orderly fashion. I'm confident we can do it.

Recital Keepsakes

Pick up tickets, t-shirts, and unicorn (with $0 account balance) this Saturday. You can still order DVD and pictures. When my girls were little, they loved watching recital DVDs to learn all the dances. I've noticed my preschool students also do. Every summer they return to class asking me if they can do "Sandman" dance, etc. This is a magical time that should be archived on DVD. Recording devices are prohibited during recital.

Hair & Makeup

Ballet/Contemporary/Jazz-high bun; Preschool-curly ponytail above right ear; Baton I/Jazz I/MT-high curly ponytail; HipHop-pigtails. No jewelry or nail polish. Girls must wear makeup recital day: red lipstick (pink for baby ballet/preschool), blush, neutral eye shadow, & mascara. Students new to recital should wear makeup at dress rehearsal to ensure correct amount for stage lighting.

Baton is Fantastic

Our twirlers competed at NBTA Regionals in The Woodlands March 14-15. Tiny Tots Team placed 1st; Jacie placed 1st for Solo, Kayli placed 1st for Solo and Strut, Morgan placed 1st for Int X-Strut, Basic Strut ages 0-6 Katherine 1st, Jacie 2nd. All of our girls placed in top 10. Congratulations ladies!

Ballet is Best

Every girl should take ballet. Ballet is the foundation of dance. Students start in Baby Ballet and continue in a ballet combo class until age 5. Ballet IA is recommended for Kindergarten - 1st grade. Ballet promotions have been determined for 2015-2016. Ask Vicki or Cheryl for fall placement.

Cheer Stars is Fun

We are excited to re-launch VM Cheer Stars for ages 5+ taught by Ally Souza, former UofH cheerleader. Due to interest from current students, we have pushed start date to June 8. Practices are Mon/Thu 5-6pm with an optional tumble class. Girls will learn dance, jumps, motions, pyramids, & stunts. Team goal is to enjoy learning in a wholesome place and compete as a show team this fall.

School Spirit

Here's an idea: order a yard sign today and place in your yard on recital morning with balloons. This is an excellent way to build recital excitement. You can still order a VM logo mom shirt for recital day - don't delay! And, don't forget a personalized decal for your car. Now that's VM Spirit!
