Spring Break

No classes this week. The office is open Tue 8-5:30 and Fri 8-4.

Recital Packet & Keepsakes

Recital Packets are past due. Turn in ASAP! You can still order ad, DVD, sweet dreams unicorn (with tutu & toe shoes), and extra tickets. We still need volunteers (earn free tickets).

Dress Rehearsals

Our first dress rehearsal is Saturday, April 25th from 7-9:15 am at VM. Click here for your child's rehearsal time. Final dress rehearsal & recital will be at Westfield HS on Saturday, May 23rd.

We Love Parties!

Book your party today, and let us roll out the red carpet for your child. Party options include: tea parties ($299), ballerina, baton, cheer, gymnastics, or anything else you can dream ($165).

Martial Arts

Martial Arts: Classes are Mon & Thu for ages 6 & up. Parents are always welcome to enroll, and it's great exercise.

Music Lessons

Music: Music makes you smarter! Piano, voice, and guitar lessons for ages 4 & up; and can coordinate with your dance schedule. Summer camps are coming soon!

On My Mind . . . Thank You for 21 Years!

On April 1, 1994, I will be celebrating 21 years. What a blessing! I was 23 when VM opened. I married in October 1995 and had Morgan in June 1997. By the time she was one, I was done, but the Lord had a plan. In October 1998, I purchased land on Stuebner Airline and built the new studio. Kayli was born in August 2001, Jon Clark in January 2004, then we welcomed 15-year old Dalia in February 2007. Life was busy; filled with joy, tears, and laughter. Dalia is now married with two kids and one on the way. This fall Morgan will start college, Kayli high school, and Jon Clark junior high. Determine your priorities and live accordingly. Time goes quickly; take time to find some margin in your life today.

I believe God put me here to teach and mentor your child. I am thankful and blessed to do what I love. It is difficult to balance my family with my studio family. God is good. He continues to encourage and show me the way. Easter is April 5th; take time to remember the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior.

Baton Twirlers Rock!

Congratulations to our baton twirlers for their recent Rice half-time performance! You represented our school well. Our twirlers will compete at Regionals this weekend at College Park High School in The Woodlands. Good luck to all contestants!

Picture Days: March 13, 16, & 17

Click here for picture schedule. Arrive 15 minutes early with your child dressed and ready. Plan to stay 30-60 minutes; bring dry snacks, water, color books, homework, etc. Enjoy this fellowship time. Pictures will be taken in large studio upstairs (no parents allowed). Let our fabulous teachers take care of your child, so you can relax with other parents.

Picture Days: Attire, Hair, Makeup

Baby Ballet - curly ponytail; Ballet/contemporary/jazz - high bun on crown of head; Baton I/Musical Theatre - high ponytail; Preschool - pull hair behind right ear and place curls; Hip Hop - your choice. Stage makeup is usually too much for a photo. No jewelry, nail polish, or tattoos. Please purchase correct tight color from our boutique, or arrive extra early picture day to buy and put on your child.

Picture Days: Class Photos

Attendance is critical! Your child should be at class photo (in memory book) to ensure costumes are stage ready. Buying pictures is optional; however, it's not too late to order class photos, packages, and a button of your child for just $10. If you need to order pictures, arrive early. Only non-recital classes are held during pictures (Aerial, Ballroom, Drill, Leaps & Turns, Music, TKD, Tumble, Privates).

Cheer Stars

We are excited to re-launch VM Cheer Stars for girls ages 5 & up beginning April 27th. Practices are Mon & Thu 5-6 pm with an optional tumble class. Girls will learn dance, jumps, motions, pyramids, and stunts. Team goal is to have fun learning in a wholesome place and compete as a show team this fall. Enroll today!

Summer Time

Plan to spend your summer at VM. Click here for class schedule and camps. Registration opens April 1st. The session is June 8th - July 30th. It's important your child continues training, so we work with vacations. Let's keep dancing!
