IDEC FT1A SmartAXIS controllers were designed with a focus to provide users with unique features and advance functions for applications that require limited I/O. FT1A SmartAXIS controllers are available in 12 , 24, 40, 48, I/O CPUs and 3.8" HMI+PLC 65K color TFT resistive or monochrome touchscreen.
The 3.8" HMI+PLC FT1A Touch packed in a compact package but equipped with abundant features. It's a genius product for a small machine that requires human interface. The integrated 12I/O PLC functions built into the 3.8" touchscreen utilize all the PLCs functions. Now you can do a lot more for a lot less (under $300!!!).

Inspired by industry
The ABB JOKAB SAFETY contact mat has been developed for safeguarding sections in hazardous areas around machines, presses, robots and other types of active equipment. When connected to a suitable monitoring system, stepping on the mat surface triggers a control signal to the stop circuit of the potentially hazardous motion. This fast contact occurs due to the area switch design on the inside of the mat. The basic construction of the ABB JOKAB SAFETY mat consists of two conductive plates which are separated by a proprietary isolating layer. These plates are completely potted in a polyurethane material so that they are impervious to oil, water and dirt. The top consists of a slip resistant dotted pattern. This surface provides excellent resistance against oil and grease. Mounting to the floor can be realized with either aluminum ramp rails or integrated rubber ramp trim.

When connected to a Vital controller or a Pluto Safety PLC with the Tina 6A adapter LED diagnostics becomes available for all connected safety mats. This feature makes set up and troubleshooting quick and easy, unlike conventional safety mats without any visual
indication. When connected to the Tina 4A Safety Port Block, field wiring is reduced by up to 75%.
