As March comes in like a lion and boldly budding trees are seen all over the Pacific Northwest, I find myself thinking about change. As you know I've recently made some changes with my exciting foray into social media - it's been a both a learning curve and immensely invigorating for me. In fact, I've been having so much fun expanding my connection with my community (that's you!) that I'm inspired to resurrect my blog. Just as the trees are budding, my thoughts are popping about what I'd like to share with you there. Two-Way Street One thing I've learned in developing my Pinterest and Facebook pages is the importance of posting content that is meaningful, compelling and useful to YOU. (Thanks to everyone who has found me in both spots!) Understanding the power of social media has me thinking about the potential of the two-way conversations that happen online these days. You've heard me repeatedly suggest relying on the help of others (salespeople, friends, etc.) in your ongoing quest to discover The Real You. It's a piece of advice I believe deeply and practice myself as often as possible. Coffee Talk So I'm inviting you to share with me what you'd like to talk about on my blog. Imagine you and I are meeting for coffee - what are the top 3 things you'd want to share with me? Or the top 3 things you'd ask me? Would you like to talk about trends in fashion? Brainstorm looks that could optimize what's already in your closet? Maybe you're currently wrestling with the multi-seasonal cluster in your closet? I look forward to capitalizing on the longer format of my blog to dive deeper into all kinds of topics - including any you are interested in! Simply email me with your style questions, fashion "emergencies" and any ideas you have for a conversation starter. Then, let's get talking! Stay dry and warm and we'll talk again in April, |
