Whole Foods MarketŪ Del Mar Celebrates Grand Opening
with Community Giving Day on March 6 to Benefit
Del Mar Schools Education Foundation.
To demonstrate Whole Foods Market's commitment to the community,
the company's new Del Mar store will donate five percent of the
day's net sales on Wednesday, March 6 to the DMSEF.
The donation will support the ESC Program that focuses on art,
physical education, science, technology and music in schools.
Del Mar Union School District To PresentGETTING TO KNOW THE
COMMON CORE STANDARDS
Thursday, March 7th at Sage Canyon School
6:30pm to 7:45pm
This presentation will provide an overview of the Common
Core State Standards and focus on the significant nationwide
shifts in the mathematics standards.

for the San Diego County Office of Education.

13th ANNUAL SAGE CANYON TRIVIA NIGHT!
Thursday, March 21st at 6:00pm in the MUR
Come join the families of Sage Canyon and celebrate
the 13th Annual Sage Canyon Trivia Night.
It's a night meant for fun for the whole family, come test
your useless knowledge and learn something too!
6:00pm is our start time and we will be done by 7:30pm.
We guarantee prizes NOT based on right answers, so don't
worry if you don't know the title of the last Harry Potter book.
The PTA has a short general meeting prior to the start of the
fun so you can vote your PTA Executive Board officers in for next year,
and have sponsored this event for all to enjoy.

JR. OLYMPICS!

The
Jr. Olympics Skills Competition is a free skills competition
that provides boys and girls, ages 8 to 13, the opportunity to
showcase their athletic abilities in four (4) sports:
basketball, soccer, tennis and track & field.
Participation is voluntary.
However, for those students who wish to participate, they must
return a parent-signed registration form by Friday, March 22.
Registration forms are available in the front office.
