Executive Trustee Election   

 

In November, IMRF will conduct one trustee election. Employers will elect one Executive Trustee for a five-year term. The five-year term of office will run from January 1, 2014, through December 31, 2018.

You can obtain information on nominating procedures, qualifications, sample petitions, and a biographical questionnaire by visiting the Board of Trustees area of the IMRF website, by sending us a secure message, or by calling an IMRF Member Services Representative at 1-800-ASK-IMRF (1-800-275-4673) Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The IMRF 2012 Annual Financial Report is now available online. IMRF does not mail hard copies to employers. 

In addition to the financial statements and statistical data, the report includes a summary of benefits and commentaries from professional consultants engaged by IMRF.   
GASB 68 Employer Questionnaire  

IMRF is working with our actuaries to determine how we will calculate the information employers will need to meet GASB 68 requirements.

If you haven't already, we ask that you respond to three brief questions about your employer's annual financial statement and their auditors.

This survey should be completed by the individual responsible for preparing your annual financial statement, e.g., your chief financial officer.

  • Ask procedural questions about applying for retirement or disability benefits
  • Inquire about the status of a claim  
They can send a message at any time, day or night, and receive a response within one to two business days.
