Northeastern Neighbors
Dozens gather for Chavez Day of Service to better urban gardens, parks
Neighbors, University join forces to make a difference in the community
Early last month, people from the University and all around the neighborhood got together on an unusually cold and snowy morning to dig vegetable plots, beautify our parks and prepare public gardens for Northeastern's annual Cesar Chavez Day of Service. Three locations benefited from the effort: Global Gardens (at Lawrence and Sacramento), Northside College Prep and Eugene Field Park. Thank you to everyone who participated.

Donations will be accepted weekdays through this Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the Student Lounge of the E Building, Room E-050A, which is located below the bookstore on the Main Campus.

We invite you to share your thoughts with us online.
