Northeastern kicks off Homecoming Weekend with free event
Neighbors and members of the community are invited to help the University celebrate Homecoming Weekend with a family-friendly event on Friday, October 2, in Parking Lot F of the Main Campus. The block party -- which will feature live performances, food and activities for children -- is free and will take place between 4 and 10 p.m. We hope you can join us.

New semester of non-credit courses open to Neighbors
Northeastern's Office of Continuing and Professional Education's ( CAPE) offers non-credit seminars and workshops to members of the public during late afternoons, evenings and weekends on the University's Main Campus and El Centro locations. Some of this fall's offerings include: - Creative Publication: Poems, Essays, Small Presses & Scams: Main Campus, 6-9 p.m. on a Wednesday (9/16)
- Korean Conversation Class: Main Campus, 6-7:30 p.m. for eight weeks on Wednesdays (9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/07, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28 & 11/4)
- Prezi for Teachers: Main Campus, 5-7 p.m. for two weeks on Thursdays (9/17 & 9/24)
- CPA Exam Review: Main Campus, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. for 10 weeks on Saturdays (9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7, 11/14 & 11/21)
- Time Management: Main Campus, 6-8 p.m. for two weeks on Mondays (9/21 & 9/28)

Thank you for helping us clean up the beach
Together we collected more than 36 pounds of garbage from Montrose Beach late last month during our beach clean-up and Fun in the Sun event. Our sincere appreciation goes out to those who joined us in making our community a better place to live, learn and play.
