Residence hall plan updated; construction to begin
on diversity center expansion
The University announced on Monday during a meeting of the Northeastern Neighborhood Network that it has revised its construction schedule to build its first residence hall on the current 67 acres of campus before it builds its second residence hall on the 3400 block of Bryn Mawr, which it is still working to acquire. Separately, construction will soon begin on the expansion of the Pedroso Center for Diversity and Intercultural Affairs. Exterior work will be completed by May, at which time interior work will commence. The project is scheduled to be complete by August.
