Robotics, Prgramming, Engineering, Science...all in Chatham !

In the next 2 weeks we will conclude two months of STEM camps. Almost 200 campers - and counting - have taken advantage of programs that included Science, Engineering, Robotics, Architecture,...

Make sure you child is not left out, join the ChathamSTEM movement and sign up for some of the great camps we have listed below.

But first a couple shout outs.

The last two weeks is also our opportunity to support other community initiatives that either are not related to Chatham or not related to STEM:

Shout out #1

From August 11 to August 22, ChathamSTEM is welcoming 4th and 5th graders from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Newark. ChathamSTEM volunteers and high schoolers will give them an authentic STEM experience. This year, our guests will learn programing (Scratch) and Robotics (Mindstorms), just like our kids had the chance to do.

ChathamSTEM is starting a fundraiser to buy 4 Robotics kits that the boys and girls club of Newark campers can take back to their club and continue the Robotics program year round (Target = $1500 for a year worth of Robotics for 24 students). This is part of ChathamSTEM's Teach it Forward program. If you want to help, please email back or make a donation to the Teach it Forward program here.

Shout out #2

One of the Chatham community members, Ella Maddi, a rising Senior, is investing time and energy to bring to Chatham a Beach Volleyball court.

A great addition to our town. The project has already received the support of many community members and institutions and Ella is on her way to make the project a reality.  A great addition to our town.
