Pre-Season August camp is August 14-18. Open for Students Grade 7-12.

Last month, the camp also featured industry speakers from Carnegie Mellon University, Honeybee Robotics and Cisco Systems, one of the sponsors of the camp. Representatives from those organizations shared with the students the great opportunities they see for students with STEM skills.

"I had to tell you that my daughter really likes the Robotics Camp.  I have rarely seen her as enthusiastic about anything.  She said today that the speaker made her look at her future beyond college." one parent of a 9th grader said.

This is the first time ChathamSTEM is holding a pre-season camp for Robotics and also the first time a team will have a gender balanced roster.  It is also the first time ChathamSTEM hosts students from the Boys and Girls Club of Newark, as part of its commitment to share the unique opportunities Chatham kids have access to.

This is a great year for Robotics in Chatham and the school administration across the board is doing everything possible to make this a tremendous success".
