Give a small amount, make a large impact!

Dear friend of ChathamSTEM

ChathamSTEM is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that our children are offered quality STEM opportunities in our community. Most of our volunteers are professional parents and dedicate some of our precious remaining time and energy to identifying new STEM programs, advocating for our kids and helping our school make the ambitious choices needed to support 21st century education.

The ChathamSTEM board is focused on corporate funding initiatives that will be pursued for the more significant projects such as the Center for Innovation in STEM Education on Campus (Maker Space) or a STEM training fund for our dedicated teachers supporting their innovative ideas. But to cover everyday expenses it is our intent to keep to a minimum the bake sales, the raffles and other traditional fund raising mechanisms. Of course, we do need to cover operational expenses, including:

- Supplies: Robotics Kits. Educational Software, 3D supplies, etc for the incoming summer camps
- Communications: Subscription to website, emailing and survey tools
- MIscellaneous: Filing fees, insurance to be able to run programs, other legal requirements for non-profits

ChathamSTEM attended 100% of the School Board of Education meetings and spoke out when school STEM programs needed support. We raised the profile of STEM topics in our town and managed to convince our school to hire a number of STEM teachers that will benefit all our kids. This past year more than 500 of our students became involved in STEM programs that will nurture their curiosity about the world and the way it works/

If you agree that those are all good outcomes and our children should be encouraged and supported in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math, then we need your fully tax-deductible donation

To all those who have donated time, talent and money, a big 'Thank You' to you. If you have not yet,  please consider donating - and avoid us subjecting you to yet another bake sale!
