Torri Van Wie
For 2 months, Torri Chaperoned a Tuesday afternoon Robotics class for 6th graders at CMS. Without her, the class would not have happened. Thank you Torri.
"I chose to volunteer because I was curious about what the program had to offer and I wanted to learn a little bit about robotics. I found it very interesting and after describing it to my daughter, she is now interested in a program that she might not have considered before I got involved. The Lego approach makes the learning process fun and the ability to program and control the Lego device is fascinating. It could interest students in robotics who have no prior experience with coding or robotics to pursue further studies in these areas."
