Greetings!
If you only attend one SDIF meeting this year, this month's should be the one! Thursday's meeting is an excellent opportunity to learn about the purpose, function and power of the results of focus groups. SDIF is honored to have Dr. Ed Balian of the Qstat Group return as July's expert Speaker of the Month.
Ed's team recently finished a study with California Product Developers for a simple product, a chopstick, invented and patented by one of our SDIF friends. We will analyze the study approach and answers we got with the chopsticks survey as a case study. I have personally witnessed three startups this month where the focus group is/was the crucial key and we'll discuss all three on Thursday. Seriously, this is one of the most important meetings of the year for inventors and startup entrepreneurs!
Thursday, July 14
Doors open at 6:30 for Networking
Conference Center at AMN HealthCare, 12400 High Bluff Drive, San Diego, CA 92130
Meeting starts at 7:00
$10 fee includes a snack and drink (correct change appreciated!)
SDIF is a fabulous resource for inventors, and it just wouldn't be possible without our sponsors. These are people who are often inventors themselves who provide services to our members. Please check them out below.
SDIF monthly meetings are the ideal place to get help on all aspects of inventing as well as make new contacts. Unlike other inventors' organizations, we have no costly annual dues or membership requirements. All you need is a desire to learn about the world of inventing and to network with like-minded people. Whether you're an inventor or a service provider to inventors, SDIF is the place to be the second Thursday of each month!
