December's SDIF meeting topic is "Kickstarter 101". Adrian will moderate a panel discussion of Kickstarter experienced inventors followed by Q & A. Please note that due to scheduling conflicts we will not be at our usual location this month. Instead, please join us at Coleman University--address and directions below.
Thanks to last month's speaker Leslie Wagner who spoke about licensing. We'll kick off the new year with a double header at January's meeting--Michele Nash Hoff will speak on manufacturing and branding expert Liz Goodgold will share her expertise.

CONNECT Springboard Guidelines
|
At Thursday's meeting we will go over CONNECT Springboard's new Pre-Screening evaluation form. These guidelines show what topics your project will be scored on if you are qualified for an Intake Panel. These are the same topics any investor will visit when vetting.

Adrian Elected to United Inventors of America Board
|
Adrian Pelkus, President of SDIF, has been elected to the United Inventors of America board. UIA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to providing resources to the inventing community, while encouraging honest and ethical business practices among industry service providers.
Adrian says, "Thanks to everyone for your nominations! This is a wonderful opportunity to help inventors nationally. I am excited thinking about how many new products and businesses we will help get going."
