San Diego Inventors Forum
 December 2012

Greetings!

Whether you're an inventor, a service provider, or an entrepreneur, SDIF is the place to get the information and help you need as well as make great contacts!  There are no costly dues or membership requirements, just a desire to learn about the world of inventing and network with like-minded people.

We meet the second Thursday of each month at the offices of our gracious hosts,

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP in Del Mar Heights. Networking starts at 6:30 PM, and our meeting starts at 7:00 PM.

Make plans to join us this Thursday when we focus on the important topic of branding. We're pleased to welcome branding expert and author, Liz GoodgoldLiz has appeared in over 500 media outlets including ABC, NBC, CBS, CNBC, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times

Greg Koch of Stone Brewing is unable to be with us this month but will reschedule.

Thanks to last month's presenters on manufacturing last month, Michele Nash-Hoff and GrowIt

Local News from SDIF Members

SDIF patron Dan Wolfson's Brew Buggy, featured at a past SDIF meeting, is in the running to be developed by Edison Nation! The top five ideas will be presented and one idea will be selected. The inventor of the selected idea or product will get to appear on Home Shopping Network on December 23, 2012 to discuss their inventing experience, and, of course, have their idea developed and sold on HSN.  Good luck, Dan!

I'm proud to announce that my own company, IYIA Technologies, closed a bridge round of funding allowing us to market the O2Misly, our chronic wound treatment system, to nursing homes.
