We will have many staff changes next year here at Kimberly Lane. Here are staff assignments for 2013-2014:
Kindergarten:
There will be four sections of half-day kindergarten taught by Nancy Carlson and Angie Rietschel. One all-day kindergarten will be taught by Ronda Gjestvang.
All kindergarten classes will be here at Kimberly Lane.
1st Grade:
We will have six teachers and they are: Deb Engebretson, Jessica Fricke, Rachel Falkowski, Shawna Fairchild, Jen Hunkins and Deb Donahue.
2nd Grade:
There are four sections. Teachers will be France Roberts, Barb Hughes, Greta Cender and Ann Marvin.
3rd Grade:
We will have six sections. The teachers will be Laura Dobosenski, Michelle Pool, Mike Gadient, Andrea Barbknecht, Stacee Hruza and Terah Knutsen.
4th Grade:
We will have six teachers and they are: Joe McAuliff, Suzanne Mauhar, Brad Schaffer, Michele Stinson, Michele Thomas and Becky Eisinger.
5th Grade:
We will have five sections and the teachers are: Patricia Stellmaker, Kristin Hoppesch, Julie Olson, Karen Ward-Elser and Nikki Ringate.
Other new staff members are Sue Bradsher teaching Vision 21 and Angie Kaphers in Special Services.

School Supplies for 2013-2014

School Supply Packs Available for next year!
It's time to think about next year's school supplies. To help make your life easier, Kimberly Lane Elementary PTA is offering you an opportunity to purchase prepackaged school supplies for your student through the school. Each pack of school supplies includes required items selected by our teachers in each grade.
Purchase your school pack through June 16 by going to www.epipacks.com and entering School ID KIM017.
We will not be accepting cash or checks. Online ordering only!
If you choose not to order a supply pack see the attached list for the school year 2013-2014. School Supply List For current 5th graders:CMS supply lists for the 2013-2014 school year will be finalized by the end of this school year. When the list is posted on our web page, you will receive an eNews message to visit our school web site.

Zach loved his family, friends, school, rock climbing, and fishing. At age 4, Zach was diagnosed with a brain tumor and fought bravely for more than three years. When he received blood transfusions during his battle, he was able to play and enjoy life like other kids his age. He loved helping others and was always the first to volunteer-he hoped to donate blood someday.

Prospective Board Candidate Sessions Planned

Three positions on the Wayzata School Board are open for election in November 2013. All three positions are for four-year terms. Members elected will be seated in January 2014 and terms end January 2018.
The open seats on the Board are currently held by directors Susan Gaither, John Moroz and Sue Droegemueller.
Individuals wishing to run must file election paperwork with the district between July 30 and August 13, 2013.
Interested candidates or individuals wanting more information about board service are encouraged to attend one of three information sessions the district has planned. The sessions will provide basic information about district operations and campaign laws. In addition, representatives from the Board will be available to answer questions about service. All sessions will be held at the District Administration Building at 210 County Road 101 North in Plymouth. The Administration Building is next to Gleason Lake Elementary School.
The sessions are planned for:
- Tuesday, May 21 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, June 24 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
- Thursday, July 11 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, May 18, Skyward Family Access, Gradebook, and Staff ERMA will be undergoing routine maintenance beginning at 10:00 p.m. The maintenance is expected to be completed by Sunday, May 19 at 5:00 a.m. While the maintenance is being performed, the system will be available but users may experience slowness and brief disruptions.

The last day for students to check out any material is on Friday, May 24. All Materials will be due on Tuesday, May 28. Students can still take Accelerated Reader quizzes until the end of the school.
