In FORBIDDEN VOICES: HOW TO START A REVOLUTION WITH A COMPUTER, women bloggers and cyber feminists from Iran, China and Cuba dare to speak out under dictatorial regimes. Other groundbreaking films include  RED WEDDING: WOMEN UNDER THE KHMER ROUGE from Cambodia; CAMERA/WOMAN from Morocco; and a new collection of four films that explore the lives of women in Latin America: MARIA IN NOBODY'S LAND (MARIA EN TIERRA DE NADIE), ABUELAS: GRANDMOTHERS ON A MISSION, CHILDREN OF MEMORY (NINOS DE LA MEMORIA) and BAY OF ALL SAINTS. Closer to home in North America, we have new films on the complex issues facing women in prison with MOTHERS OF BEDFORD and THE GREY AREA: FEMINISM BEHIND BARS, and women in the military with SERVICE: WHEN WOMEN COME MARCHING HOME and SISTERS IN ARMSAnd VIRGIN TALES and HOW TO LOSE YOUR VIRGINITY take a surprising look at virginity fifty years after the sexual revolution.

As a non-profit organization we are committed to supporting women filmmakers and we return 30 - 40% of all revenue to them annually. So when you buy a film from WMM you are helping the women's film community by ensuring the production of more feminist film. You are helping women directors by supporting their roles as worldwide change makers, giving voice to women in places where women's voices are often silenced.
