Delta unveils flagship Delta Sky Club at ATL Concourse B

Delta customers and employees celebrated the grand opening of the airline's second-largest Delta Sky Club today at Atlanta Concourse B.

Delta literally put the "sky" in its new Atlanta B Club, as the facility rests above the B Concourse of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic skyline view that includes downtown Atlanta. For more than two years, the airline has invested in the Delta Sky Clubs, making them another reason to choose Delta. Atlanta's B Club represents a renewed thinking behind the airline's guest experience and features local touches designed to provide a meaningful, inviting environment for Club members and guests, from modern décor seating to locally inspired art, a first-of-its-kind wine wall and premium drink offerings.

Guests can pair their favorite beverage with complimentary chef-inspired Southern fare. Acclaimed Atlanta Chef Linton Hopkins, who dishes up menus on select Delta flights from Atlanta to Europe, provides locally inspired soups, salads and breads exclusive to the Atlanta B Delta Sky Club. Additional menu items include pasta and rice salads, corn and blueberry muffins, rye rolls and soup toppings, including crispy chickpeas, coconut shavings and croutons. For breakfast, guests can enjoy locally baked bagels, hard boiled eggs and a yogurt bar with toppings, while fruit and snacks are offered throughout the day.

Blue Ribbon Business Travel has partnered with automated online expense reporting tools!

Simplify expense reporting for your business travelers.
It's never been easier for business travelers to complete and submit an expense report and quickly
get reimbursed - all online.

These expense tools create expense reports automatically, pulling travel and expenses from airline, car and hotel itineraries, personal and corporate credit card transactions, checking accounts, and scanned receipts.  Streamline the expense reporting process and improve the review and approval flow between departments.

They turn lengthy, tedious paper-based approval processes into one-click, online approvals. Managers can easily review and approve expense reports from anywhere, at any time - no paperwork involved.

In fact, most expenses are pre-approved based on policy rules set in the system, and scanned receipts are included online making review and approvals faster and easier. Expense policy violations are clearly highlighted so managers can request corrections or simply remove questionable line-items and submit the expense report for reimbursement.

The expense systems convert transactions for international travelers into the appropriate currency based on the date of travel.

Marriott International and Starwood Hotels officially joined forces

Marriott International and Starwood Hotels officially joined forces, creating the largest lodging company in the world. As far as business is concerned, this is a big deal involving two huge brands
and a lot of money. For consumers, it doesn't really mean much - unless you belong to one of the brand's loyalty programs. Before joining forces, Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) loyalty members had access to 1,300 hotels and resorts around the world.

Now that Marriott and Starwood have joined forces, members of both loyalty programs can now access 5,700 hotels and 1.1 million rooms in more than 110 countries. This includes 30 of the world's most popular brands, like The Ritz Carlton, JW Marriott and W Hotels.  Members of SPG, Marriott Rewards and The Ritz-Carlton Rewards are able to link their accounts. By doing this, members of the three programs will be able to experience perks and benefits not previously available to them.
