Pavement work on Monrovia Street starts this week
The City of Lenexa plans to begin pavement maintenance work on Monrovia Street from 95th Street to 99th Street later this week or next week, weather permitting. Crews will mill off the top layer of asphalt and then apply an ultra-thin bonded asphalt surface treatment to prolong road life.

Traffic will periodically be directed by flaggers. Drivers should anticipate lane closures and brief delays.

This is part of Lenexa's Pavement Management Program. In 2016, the city will invest $4.6 million in roadway maintenance to ensure roads are safe and in good condition.
