Pavement work returns to Sunny Side and Orchard Hill neighborhoods
The City of Lenexa will continue pavement maintenance work in the Sunny Side and Orchard Hill residential neighborhoods (roughly Pflumm Road to Rosehill Road between Santa Fe Trail Drive on the north and 95th Street on the south) over the next one to two weeks, weather permitting. Crews have already milled off the top layer of asphalt. The next step involves applying an ultra-thin bonded asphalt surface treatment to prolong road life. Work will move very quickly, and access to homes will be maintained.

This is part of Lenexa's Pavement Management Program. In 2016, the city will invest $4.6 million in roadway maintenance to ensure roads are safe and in good condition.
