August 6 - 9,  2015

Just three days left to apply for your spot in history.

As you are resting on this last Sunday before the April 1st deadline to apply for the 53rd Annual Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival, we have put together the top three reasons to apply early for this year's festival.

#1: Eight Times The Festival Has Been Voted a North American TOP 100 Event!

For an eighth time, the American Bus Association has named the Arts & Crafts Festival one of North American's TOP 100 Events. The annual event has now drawn nearly two million visitors and artists have sold an estimated $35 million and received over a quarter of a million dollars in prize money. As one of the largest festivals in North America, you'll be sure to be part of history as we continue a tradition of great art!

#2 A Family-Owned Festival for 53 Years Means You Are Part of the Family!

In 1962, Amish Acres Founder and CEO, Richard Pletcher  started the very first Arts & Crafts Festival as a clothesline art show on the downtown streets of Nappanee, Indiana. Seven years later, after years of growth, the festival moved to its current location at Amish Acres where it began to resemble the current festival format. Now, with the fourth generation, Richard Pletcher continues as CEO while daughter Jenni is the president of Amish Acres and is the Festival Marketplace Coordinator. Five grandchildren have also inherited the passion of the Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival

#3 Location! Location! Location!

We are in a great location for visitors to spend a weekend away from the day to day grind. A central location between Chicago, Indianapolis, Toledo and Detroit allows for over 70,000 visitors to visit every year. The show is promoted with extensive local, regional and national print, billboard, television, radio, Internet, email, social media, and direct mail advertising with online retail opportunities to attract buyers specifically interested in unique hand crafted products.

Calling all Artists! Calling all Artists!

Apply today for your spot in this long-standing event! The show is limited to approximately 300 booth spaces, with nearly 250 cities in over 30 states represented by exhibitors. Applications are now being accepted online or contact or (574) 773-4188 extension 213 for further application information.
