#2 A Family-Owned Festival for 53 Years Means You Are Part of the Family!
In 1962, Amish Acres Founder and CEO, Richard Pletcher started the very first Arts & Crafts Festival as a clothesline art show on the downtown streets of Nappanee, Indiana. Seven years later, after years of growth, the festival moved to its current location at Amish Acres where it began to resemble the current festival format. Now, with the fourth generation, Richard Pletcher continues as CEO while daughter Jenni is the president of Amish Acres and is the Festival Marketplace Coordinator. Five grandchildren have also inherited the passion of the Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival

We are in a great location for visitors to spend a weekend away from the day to day grind. A central location between Chicago, Indianapolis, Toledo and Detroit allows for over 70,000 visitors to visit every year. The show is promoted with extensive local, regional and national print, billboard, television, radio, Internet, email, social media, and direct mail advertising with online retail opportunities to attract buyers specifically interested in unique hand crafted products.
