FEATURED INSTALLATIONA. Mausshardt GmbH, Stuttgart, Germany, has invested in a ROTOCONTROL RSC-series slitter/rewinder for finishing blank and flexo-printed self-adhesive paper and foil labels. The equipment features 100% servo motor control, 340-mm web width, slitting system for both shear or razor cartridges, ergonomic vacuum splice table for vertical inspection, automatic tension control, job memory for up to 500 jobs, and a TubeScan digital strobe for advanced label inspection. "This is our first ROTOCONTROL investment," comments Markus Klein, technical manager. "We initially saw an impressive live demonstration at Labelexpo Europe last fall. On-site, the decision was made for ROTOCONTROL, as they clearly have high standards for delivering quality product, a commitment also shared by the Mausshardt family for over 90 years. Our production team is ready for the upcoming machine installation in our Dettenhausen factory and to begin finishing self-adhesive labels on our new ROTOCONTROL RSC."
