A new KBA Rapida 105 41-in. seven-color press with automated inline quality control and inspection systems has been installed at the Shakopee, MN, facility of Imagine! Print Solutions to produce packaging, point of purchase, and commercial work. President Bob Lothenbach says the new KBA press "can replace two of our existing presses from a different manufacturer and add 50% more productivity and better quality for less money and faster speeds." The company's capabilities and services include: temporary and permanent display design; folding carton design; electronic pre-press; sheetfed and UV printing; ten-color flexography; complete finishing, and carton converting. This is the ninth KBA press installed at an Imagine! facility.
