India-based Pragati Pack has invested in its third MPS press for printing pressure-sensitive labels. The eight-color EB 370-mm flexo press, ordered through agent Genius Flexo Machinery, will be installed in September and features a modular design and operator-friendly press operation. Hemanth Paruchuri, Pragati Pack director, said, "We were stretching lead time with the existing machinery so we opted for another press. Advantages of MPS technology include consistent waste independent of the substrate used, consistent dot gain on the press, and short changeover time, which is very critical for profitability of a business."
