Edicoes de Angola (EAL) is awaiting the arrival of its second Highcon Euclid digital cutting and creasing machine. EAL, a third-generation family business with 200+ employees, produces labels, boxes, books, security jobs, and more on a number of offset and digital presses. Manager Carlos Santos (pictured right with Highcon's Paulo Monteiro) says, "We handle a lot of short run jobs, and the Highcon Euclid has opened up the market for us. We are able to be far more responsive to our customers, offering rapid turnaround and highly differentiated designs. We ordered the second Euclid machine to cope with the volume of work and also because I can no longer imagine working without it." EAL is one of the first to use the Highcon Euclid for kiss cuts when cutting decorative labels.
