Folding carton manufacturer McLean Packaging, Moorestown, NJ, has installed a new KBA Rapida 106 41-in. hybrid eight color press to enhance efficiency for premium packaging and display needs. The press is configured with seven litho units, a coater, two drying stubs, an eighth litho unit, and second coater. Jeffrey Besnick, VP/GM; Joseph Fenkel, chairman/CEO; Edward Heffernan, KBA sales representative; and Rob Watts, pressroom manager; proudly display the features of the new press above. "This is our first KBA press," says Fenkel. "The decision to switch to a Rapida was clinched by the overall package of innovative solutions, such as the sidelay-free infeed, ability to use both conventional and UV inks, and the lightening-fast press speed.
