To upgrade the productivity of its five production lines, including a PRATI VEGA FN330 and a VEGAPLUS 330, family-run Raining Labels, Ravenna, Italy, invested in a STARPLUS glueless automatic rewinder. Rudi Tassinari, production manager, says, "Because PRATI machines are very productive and versatile, they are giving us a hand with our business and make it easier for us to prepare different orders. Speedy size changeover enables us to switch from one size and inner core to another in about 15 minutes. This way customer delivery deadlines are reduced to the utmost." He reports an increase in productivity of 20% to 22% with a maximum hourly production that has risen from 7,000 to 9,000 linear meters.
