Century Label, Bowling Green, OH, installed two HP Indigo WS6000 series digital presses to increase print capacity. Charged with printing 12,000 water-soluble stickers of 26 different designs, Century developed dissolvable stickers using its SmartSolve label stock. Using the press's extended color gamut, particularly the violet ink, the company hit even the most difficult colors spot on. "We love what digital has done for our business," said Seth Hill, director of manufacturing and distribution. "In general, our focus has changed, and we are going after larger jobs now."
