Talk To Me

Spiteful Brewing Label Recently I went to a beer tasting at The Beer Temple in Chicago. I really liked this label on Spiteful Brewing's Bitter Biker double I.P.A. It reminded me of Teresa Koltzenburg, who used to bike to work when she was PFFC's senior editor. (Teresa had her fair share of bike altercations on the mean streets of Chicago.)

This label
was printed on the digital engine of a Nilpeter FA combination press at International Label & Printing Co. in Elk Grove Village, IL. Tony Dardano, executive VP, sales and marketing, at International Label tells me that the press uses real ink and doesn't require pretreated stock. Finishing is done in-line. So, what's your favorite beer label? Write to me at [email protected].

For more on beer labels, consider joining the Beer Label Network on Linked in. It's a global forum to share designs, technical problems, and solutions related to beer labels.

BTW, the answer to last week's trivia question of who holds the Cubs record for most grand slams in a single season is Mr. Cub himself, Ernie Banks, with 5 in 1955. - Claudia
