PETERSBURG - New updates have been provided about the regional multimodal passenger station that would link the Tri-Cities to Charlotte and Raleigh N.C., and Washington, D.C.

The Crater Planning District Commission provided the update Jan. 15 on the completion of a final report to document findings from the from the Tri-Cities Multimodal Station Environmental Assessment.
