International Spotlight:
VGR Stakeholders Represent the Region at UCI Worlds
 
For the past few weeks, the Richmond metro area and region have been in the spotlight as all eyes have focused on the 2015 UCI Road World Championships. VGR staff and partners participated in corporate events to welcome leaders from across the world, showcasing the region as a hospitable and open area for business.

The Petersburg Area Regional Tourism Corporation and local partners also exhibited at FanFest 2015 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, putting "the best PART of Virginia" on display for the world to see. 

As a region, we were happy to welcome international leaders and participate in the celebration and excitement the races brought to the state as a whole. We will continue to position the region as a global hot spot for economic development and tourism activity, proving again and again that the area is the gateway to international markets.
