HCA Virginia's John Randolph Medical Center celebrated the grand opening of its new behavioral health adult inpatient unit June 15. The 40-bed treatment program contains three tracks: wellness and treatment for individuals with depression and/or anxiety; recovery, treatment for individuals with severe mental illness or substance abuse; and steppingstones and treatment for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Citizens of the Tri-Cities now have the opportunity to buy the best quality food.

 

A guide, known as "Buy Fresh Buy Local" is currently in circulation at area farmers markets that informs residents and visitors where they can find the best quality, well-produced food in the area.

HOPEWELL ­- A new shop has made downtown Hopewell its home. Old Timers Classic offers a variety furniture, collectibles and knick-knacks.

 

Charles Palmer and Steve Vaughan are partners in the venture.  

 

They had been renting a spot in the Market Bazaar on Hull Street up in Midlothian for about six months and they decided it was time to have their own store.
