President/CEO Announces 53rd Annual Meeting

As we begin a new year, it is essential for Virginia's Gateway Region to reflect on 2013, celebrate the shared accomplishments, and put its best foot forward for the upcoming year. As an organization, we value working with our communities and partners to continue strengthening the region and sharing the message of a first class business location in the U.S.

Our 53rd Annual Meeting is just around the corner and I want to personally invite each of you to join us on March 27 for an evening of celebration and reflection.  I am so proud to be a part of a winning regional team of leaders that put service for the community at the top of their agenda. The event gives us all the opportunity to express our gratitude to our partners and friends.

We welcome keynote speaker Jamie Womack, vice president of marketing & branding for CareerBuilder, a global leader in human capital solutions.  Jamie oversees business-to-business strategy including communications, research, e-commerce, and customer experience. She also was involved in the direction, content, and editorial review of The Talent Equation, a book that addresses how companies successfully develop talent strategies in the face of skills gaps and retention challenges.

Please join us in celebrating another great year in Virginia's Gateway Region.
