Health, Happiness, Rejuvenation through Yoga |
In the deepest, innermost region of your chest is your center of unconditional love, wisdom and compassion. This space is home to your physical heart and is also an area pulsating with immense capacity for feelings of happiness, joy and bliss. A balanced and open heart space radiates unlimited potential for fulfilling your desires, fortifying your immune system, and expressing loving kindness toward yourself and others.
Some believe that we have crossed the threshold into a time where humanity will be more in tune with the infinite intelligence emanating from our heart center. We will demonstrate the higher aspects of ourselves and uplift the conditions of human life on Earth. When you direct your awareness to the pulsating frequencies of your heart center, you begin synchronize your physical body, your mind and your consciousness with natural rhythms - ascending into these higher, more sublime aspects of yourself.
As we transition into living vibrantly from the wisdom of our hearts, we must leave behind old habits and patterns of nonproductive and destructive thoughts, words and actions. To smoothly and effectively make this transition, you need a healthy body and a strong nervous system. So how might we achieve the vitality and composure to navigate this period in our evolution? The regular practice of conscious breathing (pranayama), yoga poses (asana), meditation and deep relaxation, of course! Reach out, perhaps practice with a friend and help support one another... we're all evolving together!
Thank you again for being here! I am wishing you the lightest and brightest illuminations in this season of unlimited possibilities.

Heartbeat Meditation
This is an easy way to tune in to the rhythm of your heart.
Sit up in a relaxed posture with your spine straight. Make sure the room or physical environment is quiet and free from distractions.
Close your eyes and begin to breathe slowly, deeply and evenly.
Rest your arms in your lap as shown in the picture. Place your left hand in your right palm. Gently press the tips of your first two fingers on your inner wrist until you feel your pulse.
Count how many heartbeats it takes for you to breathe in. Make your exhale last the same number of beats as your inhale.
After a while, make your inhale last for one or two more beats. Match your exhale to this rhythm.
Extend your inbreath and outbreath in this way keeping a smooth transition between breaths. If the breath catches, or becomes choppy in between, shorten the duration of the in and out breath until it flows smoothly and evenly.

What is Jyotish?
Jyotish, or vedic astrology, is the oldest system of astrology in the world. It is derived from the Sanskrit word "jyoti" which means light. As the pure light of scientific knowledge, the word Jyotish implies studying a person's character, health, habits and even the future on the basis of his or her birth chart.
