 We did it! Thank you for supporting our Kickstarter for the CSED Center. In total, 185 backers helped us surpass our goal of $17,900 with a final total of $19,039! The Center will showcase energy efficiency upgrades and primarily serve as an educational center for the Lower 9th Ward community.

Soul-A-Bration fundraiser to benefit All Souls after-school program
All Souls Episcopal Church and Community Center will host their second annual Soul-A-Bration, a silent auction and dinner benefiting their after-school program. The fundraiser will feature special performances by Troy Sawyer & The Elements and Mikhala Iverson on Sunday, Nov. 16, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., at All Souls, 5500 St. Claude Ave. Tickets are $25. Congratulations to CSED's Rachel Pickens
Please join us in congratulating CSED's very own Rachel Pickens. Rachel was recently sworn in as a lawyer. She moved to New Orleans five years ago to pursue a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, and recently passed the Louisiana bar on her first try. As a newly admitted attorney, she wants to practice environmental law, focusing on coastal preservation, wildlife conservation, and environmental justice.
