Bike ride to advocate for safe transportation options

Join us for the second annual community bike ride to connect the upper and lower 9th ward and advocate for safe transportation options for bikers and walkers on the St. Claude bridge. It takes place Saturday, April 5, 10:30 a.m. - noon. We'll meet up at 9:30 a.m. at Sam Bonart Park, 1200 Forstall, and end with snoballs at the Bayou Bienvenue wetland platform.

Last week, CSED welcomed wonderful volunteers from Louisburg First Baptist Church in Louisburg, KS. We're so thankful for all of their hard work in our community.

Common Ground Legal Clinic
 
Common Ground Relief continues to offer legal services to the community. They'll offer a free debt relief legal clinic Saturday, April 5, noon - 2 p.m.
 
The Common Ground Relief Legal Clinic is open Tuesday - Saturday and will now focus on family law matters under its new managing attorney Liz Lesher. Walk-ins are welcomed Tuesday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Saturday until noon.  To schedule an appointment any other day, call 504-717-7324.
